Do you think these elements made the Wii U's lack of new games be a non issue or do you think is a cool feature but that still is not enough yo justify the poor release schedule? Many Wii U defenders say this alone makes the console great or amazing and it totally compensates for the low number of original games.
When hearing comments from Wii U defenders about why they think the console is actually great, the most common argument I hear aside from the Nintendo games for it, is the retro line up it had, in these case the fact that it was fully backwards compatible with the Wii's discs, with a few games released digitally too, and that it continued the Wii's virtual console, making the console have a large number of games from other consoles to play.
